Community Organizations

Oakridge has a rich diversity of cultural and social activities.  The citizens of the City are active in volunteerism, and, for newcomers to the area, to volunteer is to become acquainted and find ones own niche in the community.  In Oakridge, we make our own fun.  Behind the windows of many cozy homes people are meeting and enjoying food, conviviality, games, discussions, films, practicing for roles in little theatre, and planning for activities.  Our larger meetings and gatherings take place mostly in Church facilities, the Willamette Activity Center (WAC), Greenwaters Park building, and the High School Auditorium until such a time as we have our dreamed of and planned community center with facilities to accommodate all variety of community activities.

Zero Tolerance Theater

Zero Clearance is a community theater company that was formed in 1994. Using only local performers, and staging both published and original works, this local troupe provides artistic opportunities for both supporters and actors.
